The South Jakarta District Court (PN) held a civil lawsuit trial related to the alleged extortion committed by the former Head of the South Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasat Reskrim), AKBP Bintoro, against two suspects in the murder case.
"The trial will be held openly at 10.00 WIB in the 04 Session Room of the South Jakarta District Court," said South Jakarta District Court Public Relations Officer, Djuyamto.
In addition to rolling in the South Jakarta District Court, this case will also be tried in an ethics trial by the Metro Jaya Police on Friday (7/2). The ethics trial will present five people suspected of being involved, namely AKBP Bintoro, AKBP Gogo Galesung, and three members of the South Jakarta Metro Police with the initials Z, ND, and M.
Previously, AKBP Bintoro denied allegations of extortion worth Rp. 20 billion, consisting of Rp. 5 billion in cash and Rp. 1.6 billion which was claimed to be transferred in three stages.
