Banggai Police Alert Personnel To Secure Chinese New Year 2025 Celebration

Polres Banggai, Central Sulawesi Province, has alerted personnel for the security of the 2025 Chinese New Year in the Banggai Regency area.

"The Banggai Police have deployed 50 personnel to secure the 2025 Chinese New Year in the Banggai Regency area," said Head of the Public Relations Section (Kasi Humas) of the Banggai Police, AKP Al Amin S. Muda in Banggai, Antara, Tuesday, January 28.

Security for Chinese New Year celebrations starts on Tuesday today until Wednesday tomorrow in order to provide a sense of security and comfort to the community, as well as anticipate unwanted things.

In securing this Chinese New Year, police personnel were alerted at places of worship such as the Vihara Paramita Maitraya, Luwuk City, Vihara Eka Dharma Loka in West Toili District and Vihara Kwang Kong in Pagimana District.

He said the Banggai Police were committed to providing maximum protection to the community, especially in important moments such as the Chinese New Year celebration.

His party also increases patrols at night and in the morning as part of sustainable efforts in creating a sense of security and providing the best service for the community.

He said this patrol was carried out by targeting vital points such as crowd centers, tourist attractions, traffic lanes, congestion-prone areas and accidents, as well as crime.

"For this reason, I invite all elements of society to keep the security and social security situation conducive and work together in securing Chinese New Year in our area," he said.

He hopes that with this security, the 2025 Chinese New Year celebration in Banggai Regency can run safely, smoothly and conducively.
