JAKARTA - Two drug dealers of the Tramadol type koplo pill who usually operate in the High Bridge area, Kebon Kacang Village, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta, were arrested by the Tanah Abang Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Thursday, January 23.

The two suspects had the initials H and AJ. When arrested, both of them kept evidence in the form of 155 pills of Tramadol. In addition, the two perpetrators also carried sharp weapons of stainless knives.

Tanah Abang Metro Police Chief, AKBP Aditya Sembiring said the arrests of the two suspects began with public information about the distribution of illegal drugs in the Jembatan Tinggi area.

"Armed with this report, our team will immediately conduct raids to minimize the circulation of these dangerous goods in our jurisdiction," said AKBP Aditya, Thursday, January 23.

In addition to confiscating the drug Tramadol, the police also confiscated the letter T keys belonging to the two perpetrators. According to AKBP Aditya, the equipment was allegedly used for their illegal activities.

"Their modus operandi is to take advantage of locations that are considered strategic for drug sales transactions," he said.

However, the police will not provide room for this kind of activity. Operations like this will continue to be carried out in order to maintain public order and security.

The suspects and evidence have now been secured for further investigation. He also appealed to the public to remain actively reporting all suspicious activities in their environment.

"As a preventive measure, the Tanah Abang Police carry out patrols and intensive guard in the area," he said.
