Blue Print Building Needed For The Search For Glodok Plaza Fire Victims

The Head of Yandokpol Police Hospital, Kombes Hery Wijatmoko, said that the plan or blueprint which is a technical image of the building (blue print) was needed by the disbursement team at the Glodok Plaza fire scene, Tamansari, West Jakarta, which occurred on Wednesday, January 15.

"Those blue prints are needed by the TKP searching (search) team as an effort they can sort out which areas there is still potential (victims)," said Hery, ANTARA, Wednesday, January 22.

Based on the discovery, the last victim was in the emergency ladder area. So that from this area, the search team can predict where the potential victim escaped during the fire.

"From there, their team will predict where the potential of the victim will lead (to escape)," said Hery.

According to Hery, at the Glodok Plaza fire scene there were still a lot of building debris. Hery hopes that the search team can work optimally to find possible victims of the fire.

"There are still many closed crime scenes, we happen not to go to the crime scene directly, but hopefully the TKP team can work optimally. We pray for them to be careful because there are indeed many scattered objects," explained Hery.

Hery added that the National Police Hospital continues to coordinate with the TKP team for Medicine and Health (Bidokkes) Polda Metro Jaya and the local Fire and Rescue Team (Gulkarmat).

"Because there is already a cleaning start, it is hoped that later it will be detected the presence of body parts (parts of the victim's body) on the 8th floor," he said.

Previously, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat), Satriadi Gunawan, revealed that the Glodok Plaza fire location building based on data in 2023 was declared ineligible for fire protection.

"For the plaza case, indeed in 2023, we have stated that it has not met the fire safety requirements," said Satriadi in Jakarta, Tuesday (21/1).

The fire protection requirements in question include the protection of active and passive fires such as springkel and sector sprints, evacuation tools such as stairs and building fire safety management (MKKG).
