The Padangsidimpuan Resort Police (Polres), North Sumatra arrested a man with the initials ZSH (32) and GH (31) residents of Padang Lawas Regency who were suspected drug dealers of 158 ecstasy pills.

"The evidence confiscated was seven packs of transparent clips containing 158 pills of ecstasy, one gadget and Rp150 thousand in cash," said Head of the Padangsidimpuan Police Narcotics Unit (Kasat) AKP Jasama H Sidabutar as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, April 18.

Jasama said this arrest was based on reports from the public in an empty warehouse on Jalan BM Muda, Aek Tuhul Village, Padangsidimpuan Batunadua District, an ecstasy transaction on Wednesday (17/4).

"Then the team conducted an investigation of the location, then saw the two men arrested by officers along with evidence," he said.

Jasama stated that during the interrogation, the two suspects admitted that the evidence was stored in a device box wrapped in plastic.

"From the suspect's statement, the evidence was obtained from a person with the initials PS, a resident of Sosa District, Palas Regency," said the Head of Drugs.

Jasama added that the two suspects and evidence had been secured at the Padangsidimpuan Police which was useful for further investigation.
