Menpora Dito Orders The Importance Of Venue Asset Care After The Implementation Of The Aceh-Sumut XXI PON In 2024

ACEH - Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Menpora RI) Dito Ariotedjo, conveyed a message that after the construction of the venue and after the 2024 XXI National Sports Week (PON) in Aceh-North Sumatra, venture building assets can be maintained, maintained and used as much as possible so as possible so as not to stall.

"The most important thing is that after all these venue assets have been rebuilt, I hope that in the future they will be maintained together for their maintenance or maintenance, their use is maximized," said Menpora Dito after reviewing the venue at the Harapan Bangsa Stadium Sports Complex, Aceh, Thursday, August 3.

Menpora Dito hopes that the Aceh Provincial Government together with the community and the sports community will jointly care for and use venue assets after the implementation of the Aceh-Sumut XXI PON in September 2024.

"As we can see that the Harapan Bangsa Stadium, which was built in 1995, was used in 1997 and we will see its condition today, because it may not be used optimally, so it will be like this," said Menpora Dito.

"We hope that after the implementation of the 2024 Aceh-North PON, the heritage of its construction together, the government, the community and the sports community in Aceh, let's think together how to use this asset so that it is maintained," said Menpora Dito.

Previously, the Governor of Aceh Province, Achmad Marzuki, said that Aceh Province was ready to host the 2024 Aceh XXI PON.

"The point is that Aceh is ready to organize this PON. Hopefully, the implementation of this Aceh-North PON can go well, successful in its implementation and success also in its achievements," he said.

"We are optimistic and confident that the implementation will go well, especially since the Minister of Youth and Sports also conveyed this. And of course we hope that the construction will be completed before the PON is completed and can be used for rehearsals, test events and so on," Achmad hoped.
