Ojol Driver Was Persecuted By A Group Of Men During A Riot In Ciledug

JAKARTA - With good intentions to break up a fight, an online motorcycle taxi driver (Ojol) was abused on Jalan Ciledug Raya, Cipulir, Kebayoran Lama.

The Head of the Kebayoran Lama Police, Kompol Donni Bagus Wibisono, confirmed the incident. Donni said the incident occurred on Wednesday, January 19.

"Yes, that's right, now it's in the BAP," Donni said when contacted, Friday, January 21.

Donni recounted that the incident began when the victim intended to break up a fight. However, said Donni, the perpetrators actually attacked the victim back until she was injured.

"At that time (the victim) saw someone fighting. He was beaten instead," he said.

When asked about the number of perpetrators and the initials of the victims, Donni could not explain more clearly. But he only confirmed that his party had taken action to investigate the case of violence.

"I'll check later. (Essentially) an examination has been carried out and a post-mortem has been carried out. Then officers in the field have taken action to investigate the case," he said.
