Binjai Police Arrest Man Who Stabbed His Wife In Langkat
JAKARTA - The Binjai Police Jatanras team arrested a husband, MS (41) who was at the terminal on Jalan KH Dewantara, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra for abusing his wife YS who was working at the hospital.
"The suspect who was arrested by the officers along with evidence in the form of a black Yamaha Vega R motorcycle, police number BK 5841 AU, one pair of scissors, a blue hijab, and a pair of black sandals were brought to the command for further legal proceedings," said the Head of Subdivision. Binjai Police Public Relations Commissioner Adjutant Siswanto Ginting, quoted from Antara, Sunday, October 31.
He said the incident took place on Friday, October 29 night. At that time, MS came to YS who was working at the Delia Hospital Laboratory, on Jalan KH Dewantara, Sei Limbat Village, Complete District, Langkat Regency.
Then a quarrel between this husband and wife ensued. Until finally the husband got emotional, took the scissors that were on the table, and immediately stabbed the victim's face repeatedly.
"The stabbing resulted in injuries to the victim's face," he said.

Siswanto said it was the police who received reports of abuse and immediately went to the location.
Binjai Police Chief Grand Commissioner Adjutant Ferio Sanio Ginting immediately ordered the pursuit of the perpetrators of the persecution.
"The perpetrator has been detained, and subjected to Article 44 paragraph 2 of Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning Domestic Violence," he said.
