Clubhouse Presents App Update, Embed Music Mode For Musicians!
JAKARTA - Clubhouse is currently the most popular audio-based application worldwide. That's why, social media is suitable for the world of entertainment, such as music for example.
And Clubhouse realized this by adding a Music Mode, which allows musicians to give their best performance while using the app.
“Calling all musicians! Today we're introducing Music Mode, a new setting that helps you sound your best when performing at Clubhouse," said Clubhouse in a post on its official blog, Friday, October 15.
Furthermore, Clubhouse explains Music Mode can optimize the room to broadcast music with high audio quality and good stereo sound, both for performances from musicians or just for streaming music with their friends.
Musicians can also stream directly from their studio equipment, such as external microphones, mixing boards, and USB audio interfaces. However, the music equipment must be compatible with the smartphone used. Other listeners can also automatically listen to audio quality in stereo, both from speakers and headphones.
If interested, Music Mode is quite easy to activate, users only need to press the three-dot menu button. Scroll to Audio Quality, then hit the Music option, which is just above High to give users an indication of how HQ the new option is.

As is the case with spatial audio, Music Mode will launch on iOS first, then Android. Clubhouse also stated that the recently introduced Clips feature, which allows users to record 30 seconds of footage, will also support stereo audio. So if the user decides to save the footage of the show in Music Mode, the audio quality will remain the same.
Besides Music Mode, Clubhouse has also updated the search feature. Now, the search tab has been moved to the top, so users will easily access it when searching for something, starting from a room or a topic. Users can also greet each other via wave gestures from the search bar, a feature that lets them quickly invite friends to a live audio room.
