The Robbery That Stirred Up Balinese Residents Was Apparently Engineered By The Victim, Kadek Ardiasih Was Confused That The Savings In The Cooperative Had Run Out

BANGLI - The robbery that occurred in Banjar Sidembunut, Cempaga Village, Bangli Regency, Bali was apparently engineered by Kadek Ardiasih (24). At that time, Ardiasih admitted to being a victim and pretended to be gagged and tied up by robbers who visited her house.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bangli Police, AKP Androyuan Elim, said that Kadek Ardiasih admitted that she was robbed at her home when she was alone. Even though this is a matter of saving money that is used until it runs out.

"So she initially had savings with her in-laws. Then, the money she saved in the cooperative was used with her (Ardiasih). Then the money ran out, and she was confused about how to return the money at the cooperative", said AKP Elim when contacted, Monday, October 11th.

"It so happened that her father-in-law had cash. That cash was taken with her to be put into the cooperative. But she was confused if she (Kadek Ardiasih) took it like that. You'll be asked again where the cash went, in the end, she (Kadek Ardiasih) made a scenario (of being robbed) so that she could deposit the money (to the cooperative)", he added.

Ardiasih's lie was revealed, when the police conducted a crime scene (TKP) and asked for information from the victim until many irregularities were found.

First, Ardiasih admitted that she had been hit in the leg, but from the post-mortem, there were no signs of violence

Then Ardiasih initially admitted that the robbers brought wooden weapons, sickles, and knives to threaten her.

"But we are also thinking about how the perpetrator took the three items while holding the victim (Ardiasih)", explained AKP Elim.

It didn't stop there, another oddity at the crime scene was about clothing items being ransacked but where other valuables were not broken into. In addition, it was also found that Ardiasih's cellphone had screenshots related to case engineering.

"We found that the contents of the capture were related to case engineering. She had studied or browsed online and learned about such modes. Including captures such as robbery cases, murders held at gunpoint using a sickle. Many of the cases captured were related to engineering. From there Our suspicions are getting stronger", said AKP Elim.

Ardiasih lives in the same house as her father-in-law. Currently, Ardiasih has been named a suspect for reporting false information to the police.

"Ardiasih's modus operandi is that the IDR 26,360,000 that was taken was used to replace the savings that had been spent previously. So the perpetrators were confused about replacing the savings belonging to his father-in-law which was kept at KSP Sari Merta", said AKP Elim.

Because of the fabrication of this robbery case report, Kadek Ardiasih was charged with Article 362 of the Criminal Code or Article 367 of the Criminal Code or Article 220 of the Criminal Code. The maximum penalty is 5 years in prison.
