Police Dismantle Used Shockbreaker Recycling Factory So New, Pasted With Famous Brands
JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kemayoran Sector Police has dismantled a home factory that manufactures reconditioned car shock absorbers with counterfeit famous brands on Taruna Jaya Street, RW 03, Serdang Village, Kemayoran District.
From the results of the raids, hundreds of used shockbreakers of various types of cars were found which were stored in two houses. One owner of the reconditioning factory with the initials Yul (45) and several of his workers were detained by the Criminal Investigation Team of the Kemayoran Police.
"We received information from the local community that there was one house that produced or reconditioned car spare parts of the shockbreaker type", said the Head of Criminal Investigation at the Kemayoran Police at the scene of the incident, Iptu I Putu Novi Candra Kurniawan, Friday, October 8, afternoon.
After investigating and checking the crime scene, it turned out that it was true that there was a used car shockbreaker that was reconditioned and wrapped like new again.
According to the perpetrator's confession, this used item was obtained from a place in the Central Jakarta area.
"He got it from the Karang Anyar and Asem Reges areas. There are also those who sell used goods that come. The goods here come from many sources so that they are processed again into goods like new", he said.

In the interest of further investigation, the perpetrators were taken to the Kemayoran Police. Meanwhile, two houses that were used as production sites for the reconditioning of fake shockbreakers and a storage warehouse have yellow police lines installed.
"So far, we have detained one person, he is the one who is responsible for this business. We will carry out further investigations later to identify the suspect", he said.
Until this news was written, the case of the raid on the warehouse and the fake shockbreaker factory was still being handled by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kemayoran Police. The police also have not determined the application of the article to the perpetrators.
