Note That 479,461 People Have Been Vaccinated By The Banten Regional Police

SERANG - In supporting the acceleration of herd immunity to suppress the rate of COVID-19, the Banten Police continue to carry out vaccinations at several vaccine outlets throughout the Resort Police and Sector Police of the Banten Police.

Banten Police Public Relations Head, AKBP Shinto Silitonga, said that until now the Banten Police had vaccinated 479,461. This number consists of 364,951 first vaccines and 114,510-second vaccines. Shinto said that the Banten Police's involvement in vaccination activities was recorded as early as May 2021.

"Thanks to the people of Banten for their high enthusiasm for vaccination, so the number of vaccination increases continues to increase", said Shinto, Friday, October 8.

Shinto also explained that the Banten Police had also carried out vaccinations to remote areas.

"This is reflected in the vaccination and social service activities carried out by Alumni Akpol 99 against the Baduy tribe in Ciboleger some time ago", added Shinto.

Now, continued Shinto, the Banten Police are focusing on vaccinating several areas ahead of the Pilkades (village head elections). Because, said Shinto, in October three districts within the jurisdiction of the Banten Regional Police, will carry out the Pilkades.

"Until the end of October, the main focus of vaccination is the Pilkades which will be held in Tangerang Regency, Pandeglang Regency, and Lebak Regency", explained Shinto.

"In addition to the Pilkades area, the target for vaccination is factory workers and students, to increase face-to-face learning and tourist attractions as well as tourism actors so that the Banten economy can grow by the government's target", he explained.
