SOLO - Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka 'hates off' for the great contribution of the National Armed Forces (TNI) during the COVID-19 pandemic. Tirelessly, the TNI helped accelerate the vaccination process.
"The TNI's contribution was extraordinary during the pandemic in Solo City, assisted by vaccination attacks," said Gibran on the sidelines of attending the TNI's 76th Anniversary at Makorem 074/Warastratama Surakarta, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, October 5.
According to Gibran, Solo has now dropped to level 2 thanks to the extraordinary hard work of the TNI through the vaccination campaign. "We greatly appreciate the TNI," said Gibran.
The Commander of Military Resort Command (Korem) 074/Warastratama Colonel Inf. Rudy Saladin said that in the context of the 76th Anniversary, the TNI could organize a simple event because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Previously, his party also made a pilgrimage to the grave of the second President of the Republic of Indonesia, the Great General (late) Haji Muhammad Suharto, in Giribangun Metesih Karanganyar, Monday, October 4.
The event was also attended by Military Area Command (Pangdam) IV/Diponegoro Maj. Gen. Rudianto and Head of Central Java Police Inspector General Pol. Ahmad Luthfi along with Central Java Deputy Governor Taj Yasin.
In addition, his party also held a prayer together with the younger siblings from the orphanage, and the scholars and religious leaders in the city of Surakarta. Hopefully, the TNI's 76th Anniversary will be even more glorious according to this year's theme, 'United, Fighting We Will Win.'

In addition, at the additional event, Korem 074 Warastratama also started the rehabilitation of uninhabitable houses (RTLH) in Solo City, by rehabilitating as many as 10 housing units for RTLH residents with a budget of IDR 20 million for each house.
RTLH rehabilitation activities will be carried out from Kodim 0735 Surakarta and connected with the Surakarta City Government.
