Social Media Services Are Down, Instagram And WhatsApp Tell Users To Be Patient!

JAKARTA - Until this early morning, a number of services owned by Mark Zuckerberg such as Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger have not recovered. All users are frustrated by this globally happening event.

However, instead of providing a solution, the account detected as Instagram Public Relations Team @InstagramComms actually told users to be patient.

It didn't take long for the tweet to immediately get responses from netizens around the world. Some complained that the technology owned by the company was so bad that it experienced a decline in services as it is today.

"Please stabilize your app! Content creators rely on this platform. You hurt our profits with your bad technology," said @thatMFRED.

Twitter account @Arani612 expressed his frustration by saying, "I hate this app more and more every day. Ridiculous service, unfriendly users plus constant problems! But which revelation are you talking about?" he said.

In fact, the official WhatsApp Indonesia account also Tweeted the same words, "We realize that users are experiencing problems with WhatsApp at this time. We are trying to return everything to normal and will send an update as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience!," said @ WhatsApp ID.

According to Reuters, Tuesday, October 5, the website Downdetector, which only tracks service outages by compiling status reports from a range of sources, including user-submitted errors on its platform, shows that more than 60,000 people have reported problems on Facebook and Instagram.

Service downgrades may affect more users. Meanwhile, WhatsApp is also down for more than 35,000 users, while Messenger is down for almost 9,800 users.
