Stuck After The Alarm Sounds Went Off, The Man With The Fire And Dragon Tattoo Locked In Indomaret

DEPOK - The Depok Metro Police Jaguar Team and members of the Pancoranmas Police have arrested one perpetrator of the theft at Indomaret on Jalan Wadas, Pancoran Mas, Depok City, early Sunday, September 3.

Pancoran Police Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, Mas Ipda Abu, said the perpetrator with the initials D (21) was caught after the shop alarm sounded.

"After breaking through the ceiling of the shop from above, the shop alarm sounded. The perpetrator had taken a number of cigarettes, milk, and a bag containing IDR 300.000 cash at the cashier," said Ipda Abu when confirmed.

Nurhadi (26), an Indomaret convenience store employee who happens to live not far from the crime scene (TKP), immediately rushed to the shop after hearing the alarm.

"The perpetrator who was looting the contents of the shop (Indomaret), and a friend who was in front of the shop immediately fled using a motorbike. The head of the shop immediately locked the door and shouted there was a thief. Residents arrived. And soon the Jaguar Team immediately arrested the perpetrator in the shop," explained Iptu Abu.

When arrested, the perpetrator surrendered and did not fight back.

"The perpetrator's whole body is full of tattoos of fire and dragons. Angry residents tried to judge the perpetrators. However, the patrol officers managed to prevent them and took the perpetrators to the Pancoran Mas Police," he said.

Meanwhile, the perpetrator's friend, R, managed to escape in the theft.

"Investigators are still asking for information from the perpetrator. According to his confession, this is the first time he (stealing at Indomaret) has done it for reasons of needing money for daily needs. The perpetrator is subject to Article 363 of the Criminal Code concerning the theft of weights with the threat of five years in prison." he concluded.
