Meeting With Students At UIN Ar-Raniry, IM Commander Discusses The Dangers Of Proxy War

JAKARTA - The Commander of the Iskandar Muda Military Command (Pangdam IM), Major General Ahmad Marzuki, met with the Chancellor of the State Islamic University (UIN) Ar-Raniry Prof. Dr. H. Warul Walidin, AK. MA, the representatives of the Chancellors and Students of UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh at the Prof. Auditorium Building. Ali Hasjmi, UIN Ar-Raniry, Banda Aceh City, Saturday 2 October.

On this occasion, the IM Commander gave motivation to students during this pandemic to keep trying and work hard to achieve the desired success and reminded students to continue to apply health protocols and carry out vaccinations.

"Because through this vaccination, there is an effort from us to prevent the transmission and spread of COVID-19," said the Military Commander based on information received, Saturday, October 2.

The Commander also reminded that the current era of technology is growing rapidly, in the digital era it has also influenced some habits and cultures in Indonesia, where some cultures and customs in Indonesia have begun to disappear with the development of technology in the digital era.

“Currently Indonesia is facing a Proxy War through Cyber and Drugs without limits, it aims to destroy our country through its youth. Therefore, how to deal with it, we really need young people and students to become cadres in leading who can advance our nation," the IM Commander recalled to students.

Indonesia is very big in the world. The Indonesian nation is a collection of various ethnic groups, diversity, not the same origin, and not similar in nature. United by the ideology of Pancasila, Indonesia agreed to one nation, one language, and one homeland.

"For this reason, Indonesia needs smart people who have a national perspective and have the spirit of nationalism to advance this country. There are things that cannot be repeated, namely time and opportunity. Do your best from now on and never delay anything to achieve success,” the Commander of the IM Commander said.

Meanwhile, the Chancellor of UIN Ar-Raniry, Prof. Dr. H. Warul Walidin AK, MA in his speech expressed his gratitude for the visit of the Commander of the IM Military Commander Major General Achmad Marzuki and his entourage in order to stay in touch with the academic community at the Jantong Hate People's Campus of Aceh.

The Chancellor also submitted a request to continue to cooperate in the context of fostering millennial generation nationalism in the midst of the globalization era, in the 4.0 era. students as the next generation of the nation.

"We also thank the Military Commander who has carried out a very important effort in breaking the chain of the Covid-19 virus, by carrying out mass vaccinations at the Ar-Raniry UIN campus which was carried out some time ago," he said.
