Police Admit Difficulty Tracking Robbery Perpetrators In Cilandak Because CCTV Is Not Clear
JAKARTA - The Pasar Minggu Police are still investigating through CCTV related to a robbery carried out by a group of heavily armed men on Jalan Raya Cilandak KKO Street, Ragunan, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.
"It is still being investigated. It is handled by a joint team by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Pasar Minggu Police and the South Jakarta Metro Police", said Pasar Minggu Police Chief, Kompol Bambang Handoko, to VOI, Tuesday, September 28.
After the recording of the viral incident on social media, the South Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim immediately processed the crime scene (TKP).
"We are conducting a sweep at the crime scene and securing CCTV footage", he said.
Even so, the police had difficulty tracking the motorcycle license plates of the perpetrators because the CCTV footage was not clear.
"Looking at the CCTV has been done but it is still being investigated because the CCTV is not clear. The victim did not see the motorcycle registration numbers of the perpetrators", he said.
As a result of the incident, the victim suffered losses of three cell phones. After seizing the target item, the perpetrators fled.

As previously reported, a gang of robbers armed with sharp knives robbed a mobile phone belonging to a merchant on Jalan Raya Cilandak KKO Street, Ragunan, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. The robbery was caught on a CCTV camera at the kiosk. The video has also gone viral on Instagram.
In the video recording from CCTV, the perpetrators entered the shop and immediately took the victim's cellphone. The perpetrator seized while threatening by swinging a sickle at the victim. The incident was recorded on Monday, September 27, at around 01.32 WIB.
Other perpetrators also threatened the victim with a sickle he was carrying. The perpetrators entered the stall. After getting their target item, the perpetrators fled by walking leisurely while carrying various sharp weapons.
According to the robbery victim, Supani (31), the perpetrators threatened her during the incident.
