Bukalapak Says There Is A Lot Of Great Potential That Can Be Worked On With Conglomerate Anthony Salim's Company
JAKARTA - PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) stated that there are many potential collaborations that can be developed together with companies belonging to the Salim Group.
This was revealed by the President of Bukalapak, Teddy Oetomo, in an Instagram upload @emtrade_id, quoted on Thursday, September 23. According to him, the collaboration between Emtek Group and conglomerate Anthony Salim is a step to strengthen each other, including Bukalapak.
"Indeed, we discussed several things with the Salim Group and the Salim Group is a very friendly party with us, even from the beginning," said Teddy.
Furthermore, Teddy said, with Salim Group's years of experience in building logistics infrastructure and several data centers, there will certainly be many opportunities for Bukalapak to collaborate.
"They (Salim Group) focus on upstream while Emtek Group focuses on downstream including Bukalapak, there are certainly many things we can collaborate on," he said.
Previously, Emtek Group and Salim Group had officially established cooperation on August 12, 2021. Emtek Group President Director Alvin Sariaatmadja said that this collaboration opportunity is expected to create synergy and growth for both.

According to him, the support from the technology and digital ecosystem owned by the Salim Group will increase the competitiveness of the Emtek Group in developing a business that focuses on technology.
