Handing Over 124,120 Land Certificates Resulted In Redistribution, Jokowi: Don't Lose Or Divert It
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has handed over hundreds of thousands of redistributed land certificates to the public on Agrarian and Spatial Planning Day which falls today, Wednesday, September 22. The land exists in several areas in the country.
"I will submit 124,120 land certificates as a result of redistribution in 26 provinces and 127 regencies/cities. 5,512 of them are the result of resolving agrarian conflicts in 7 provinces and 8 regencies/cities that are prioritized in 2021", said Jokowi when handing over the land redistribution certificate for the object of agrarian reform which was shown on the Presidential Secretariat Youtube, Wednesday, September 22.
He said the certificate handed over was very special because it was new and came from state land resulting from conflict resolution, abandoned land, and the release of forest areas.
"This is the result of a joint struggle. The struggle of the ladies and gentlemen also involves groups of civil society organizations and of course also from the government", said Jokowi.
So, he advised the land certificate recipients to use it well.
"Properly guarded. Don't let it get lost, don't get damaged or change its function or be transferred to someone else. It must be really guarded", said the former Governor of DKI Jakarta.
