PSG Partners With Crypto.com, European Football Clubs Are Crowded With Crypto Sponsors
JAKARTA – The football giant from Paris, PSG is reported to have entered into a sponsorship partnership with one of the largest crypto platforms, Crypto.com. This is a massive expansion of crypto companies into the world of sports. Crypto.com has also previously formed a partnership with one of the Formula 1 racing teams.
Launching Bitcoinist, the Crypto.com platform announced the deal, becoming the official sponsor of the PSG club. The agreement mentions the creation of an exclusive NFT on the company's official platform. In addition, the company also decided to pay most of the sponsorship fees using the CRO crypto token.
Paris-Saint Germain is the most successful football club in France in the last decade. PSG managed to win 7 of 9 Ligue 1 titles. This season the club has also managed to recruit Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi. Previously they also managed to bring in Real Madrid star, Sergio Ramos.
For information, Crypto.com is one of the largest crypto trading platforms in the world with more than 10 million users. An offer to create an NFT is likely to catalyze the Parisian club. Because currently, NFT has skyrocketing popularity in various parts of the world.
