News Of Rizieq Shihab's Judge Is The Same Judge Who Cuts Djoko Tjandra And Pinangki's Sentences, Turns Out To Be A Hoax
JAKARTA - Information that said the judge in the Habib Rizieq Shihab (HRS) case was the same judge in the Djoko Tjandra and Pinangki cases, turned out to be a hoax. The untrue news was discovered after checking on the turnbackhoax.id page.
Through the site, it was found that the expression in the upload was a hoax. Initial information said a Facebook account in the name of M Roni uploaded an image. In the picture posted there is narration.
"It turns out that the judge who rejected the HRS (Rizieq Shihab) appeal was the one who cut the sentences of Djoko Tjandra and Pinangki," the narration wrote in the post.
Rizieq Shihab was first tried and tried by the East Jakarta District Court on 27 May 2021. In his decision, HRS had to bear a sentence of 8 months in prison.
Against this court decision, Rizieq Shihab's attorney then filed an appeal to the Jakarta High Court with the category of other special crimes.
In their decision, the High Court judges, namely Sugeng Hiyanto (chief judge), Brh. Yahya Syam and Tony Pribadi, rejected the appeal by Rizieq Shihab's attorney. Therefore, through its decision, HRS was declared to continue to carry out the previous sentence handed down to him.

Meanwhile, the Djoko Tjandra case was first tried and tried by the Central Jakarta District Court on April 5, 2021. In his decision, the judge sentenced him to 4 years and 6 months in prison.
Against the judge's decision, Djoko Tjandra's attorney then appealed to the Jakarta High Court with a special category of corruption which then through judges Muhamad Yusuf (chief judge), H.Rusydi, and Brhj. Reny Halida Ilham Malik granted the appeal from Djoko Tjandra's attorney. so that his sentence was reduced to 3 years and 6 months in prison.
Meanwhile, regarding the case of former prosecutor, Pinangki Sirna Malasari, Jakarta High Court judge, Muhammad Yusuf (chief judge), Haryono, Singgih Budi Prakoso, Lafat Akbar, and Renny Halida Ilham Malik, decided to reduce the sentence to 4 years in prison and fined 600 million.
Based on the report from the Supreme Court's decision directory, it can be seen that the judges who tried the Rizieq Shihab case with the Djoko Tjandra and Pinangki cases were different judges.
