Once Harassed, Angelina Jolie Disappointed Brad Pitt Collaboration With Harvey Weinstein
JAKARTA - Actress Angelina Jolie revealed a new fact. She once had a fight with Brad Pitt who is now her ex-husband because of producer Harvey Weinstein.
To The Guardian, Jolie shared a story about the problems in 2012. Previously, Jolie starred in the film Playing By Heart produced by Harvey Weinstein in 1988. She admitted to being abused by the producer when she was 21 years old.
“More than dodging. I have to get away from him. I stayed away and started warning people about him," Angelina Jolie said.
She also told this to Jonny Lee Miller, Angelina Jolie's first husband who also gave a warning to others. After the incident, Jolie never took up offers related to Harvey Weinstein.
“I was asked to film The Aviator but I said no because he (Weinstein) was involved. I never associate or work with him again. It was hard for me when Brad (Pitt) did it."
