Sandiaga Uno Supports The Use Of Vaccine Cards As A Condition For Visiting Tourist Destinations
JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno expressed his support for the government's plan to use vaccine cards that are connected to the Peduli Protect application in various tourist destinations or creative economy centers (ekraf).
"This (vaccine card) can be a solution so that tourism and creative economy actors (tourism and creative economy) can survive in the midst of a pandemic and people can vacation safely. So this vaccine card can later become our gold standard in activities", he said in the Weekly activity. Press Briefing of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, August 24.
After the COVID-19 vaccination reaches 70-75 percent, he said, what needs to be prepared is the application of strict and disciplined health protocols at each destination and creative economy center.
Currently, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy is currently expanding the 'Indonesia Care' certification based on Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environment Sustainability or CHSE.
As of August 13, 2021, it was stated that there were 5.497 businesses registered, consisting of 829 unverified businesses and 4.668 verified businesses.
'Indonesia Care' certification can be issued if the assessment on the CHSE checklist scores 85 - 100.

As of August 22, 2021, it was recorded that 57.340.729 doses of the first dose of vaccine, or 27.53 percent had been injected into the community. Meanwhile, the second dose of vaccination has reached 31.602,633 or 15.17 percent.
