Good News From Sido Muncul, The Producer Of Tolak Angin Owned By Conglomerate Irwan Hidayat Wants To Distribute Bonus Shares
JAKARTA - PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) plans to distribute 1 bonus share per 131 shares for the company's investors in the capital market. The company's intention is still waiting for the approval of the EGMS on September 2, 2021.
"SIDO intends to propose to Shareholders through the EGMS which will be held on September 3, 2021, to approve the plan to distribute Bonus Shares from the company's Treasury Shares until June 30, 2021, which has been listed in the company's financial statements", explained Sido Muncul's information disclosure, quoted on Thursday, July 29.
As of June 30, 2021, the company owned by conglomerate Irwan Hidayat has 229.778.200 treasury shares with a share value of IDR 11.48 billion. The number of shares distributed reached 227.253.602 shares or IDR 11.36 billion.
Now, the ratio of bonus shares will be 131:1, or every holder of 131 old shares will get 1 bonus share. The number of shares distributed for bonus shares that do not share dividends is determined based on the nominal value of the shares.
Thus, the basis for determining the price of Bonus Shares derived from Treasury Shares is based on the nominal value of the company's shares, which is IDR 50 per share. Meanwhile, shareholders who are entitled to get bonus shares are shareholders who are registered in the Company's Register of Shareholders on September 29, 2021 (recording date) and cum bonus on the same date.

In addition, the company also continues to maintain efficiency in financing utilization so that the ratio of operating costs to consolidated sales is maintained at the level of 19-20 percent.
The increase in net sales plus solid management fees boosted net profit after tax growth by 21 percent or to IDR 502.00 billion in the first half of this year compared to last year's IDR 413.79 billion.
