Seven MRT Entrances Closed From Today, Check The Locations

JAKARTA - PT MRT Jakarta has closed the seven entrance gates of the MRT station starting today during the implementation of the Java-Bali emergency PPKM. In addition, the operating time has also changed.

"MRT Jakarta has implemented a number of operational service policy adjustments as a step to optimize the implementation of health protocols, including changing operational times and temporarily closing several station entrances which will take effect starting Monday, July 5, 2021," said Plt. PT MRT Jakarta Corporate Secretary Ahmad Pratomo in his statement, Sunday, July 4.

Pratomo explained that the MRT shortened its operational time during emergency PPKM. During micro PPKM, MRT operates until 21.30. Now, the MRT operates from 06.00-20.30 WIB every day, from Monday to Sunday.

"The distance between the trains is flat every 10 minutes and the limit on the number of users is 65 people per train," he said.

The adjustment of the operational time set is a follow-up to the Decree of the Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Transportation Service Number 259 of 2021 concerning the Enforcement of Technical Instructions for Limiting Transport Capacity and Operational Time of Transportation Facilities in the Context of Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities for the COVID-19 Emergency.

Meanwhile, the station entrances that were closed were at Fatmawati, Cipete Raya, and Istora Mandiri stations. Here are the location details:

1. Fatmawati

- Entrance B, nearest location: Escalator near Cilandak park, Astra BMW, South Quarter (RA Kartini street, South Quarter)

- Entrance D, nearest location: Entrance in front of BPJS, Pertamina gas station (RA Kartini street, RSUP Fatmawati)

2. Cipete Raya

- Entrance A, nearest location: Holland Bakery, Toyota (Terogong Raya street, Setia Mitra Hospital)

- Entrance D, nearest location: Kemensetneg Education and Training Center (BDN Raya street, Kemensetneg Education and Training Center)

- Entrance E, nearest location: Honda Showroom (RS Fatmawati street)

3. Istora Mandiri
