JAKARTA - Majalengka Resort Police, West Java, arrested a suspect in the rape of a minor. The perpetrator is the uncle of the victim.
"The victim is a nephew of the suspect and is still a minor", said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Majalengka Police, AKP Siswo DC Tarigan, in Majalengka, as reported by Antara, Monday, June 28.
He said the rape suspect with the initials AS (21) was the uncle of the victim who was still a minor.
The violent action took place when the suspect and the victim were at their grandmother's house. The mode used is to persuade to watch adult videos.
"The method is persuasion, the victim is invited to watch an adult video, and then obscene is carried out", he said.

After receiving a report from the victim's family, said Siswo, his party immediately arrested the suspect.
The man who works daily as a private employee is now threatened with being behind bars for 5 to 15 years.
"We ensnared the suspect in Article 82 paragraph 1 junto Article 76E of RI Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning the Stipulation of Regulation in Lieu of Law Number 1 of 2016 concerning the Second Amendment to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection. The penalty is a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 15 years in prison", he said.
