Medan City Is Back To COVID-19 Red Zone Status
MEDAN - The city of Medan, North Sumatra, has re-entered the red zone or an area with a high risk of COVID-19 transmission, from previously being in the orange zone or moderate risk. This condition is based on data from the COVID-19 Handling Task Force.
As reported by Antara, Thursday, June 24, from the data of the COVID-19 Task Force, currently, there are seven regencies/cities in North Sumatra that are categorized as orange zones. This number is reduced from the previous 13 districts/cities.
The seven areas are Tanjung Balai, Batubara, Deli Serdang, Dairi, Karo, Padangsidimpuan and North Tapanuli.

Then, for the COVID-19 yellow zone, there are 16 regencies/cities, namely Pakpak Bharat, Tebingtinggi, Labuhanbatu, Mandailing Natal, Serdang Bedagai, Padang Lawas, Central Tapanuli.
Next, Toba Samosir, Labuhan Batu Selatan, Sibolga, South Tapanuli, Simalungun, Labuhan Batu Utara, Binjai, Langkat and Asahan.
Meanwhile, for the COVID-19 green zone, there are nine regencies/cities, namely West Nias, Nias, North Padanglawas, Gunung Sitoli, North Nias, Humbang Hasundutan, South Nias, Samosir, and Pematangsiantar.
