Feeling Cold And Nasal Congestion, Lebak Regent Is Positive For COVID-19
JAKARTA - The Regent of Lebak, Banten, Iti Octavia Jayabaya admitted that she was positive for COVID-19 based on the results of a swab test conducted on Tuesday, June 22.
"We ask the public to always be aware of the transmission of the coronavirus," said Iti Octavia in a video delivery in Lebak, reported by Antara, Thursday, June 24.
The regent said that before being tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, a swab test was carried out, because her body felt cold and she had nasal congestion.
In addition, the throat feels sore. Therefore, she asked for a swab test and the result, Thursday, June 24, was positive for COVID-19.
In fact, she said, she was very strict in implementing health protocols by wearing masks, maintaining distance, washing hands to avoid crowds.

In addition, there are also virtual meetings to avoid the COVID-19 pandemic. "We, who are so strict about implementing health protocols, are still exposed to the corona. I don't know where the transmission came from, even though we didn't touch other people's hands," she explained.
The regent said that she is now undergoing self-isolation at the Lebak Regency Pendopo Building.
The illness she experienced, she said, was a test from Allah SWT and she hoped for a cure so that she could return to serving the community.
