Good News From Jambi: New Record During COVID-19 Pandemic, 471 Patients Recovered In 2 Days
JAKARTA - The Jambi Province COVID-19 Task Force recorded a record of recovered patients in its area in the last two days, reaching almost 500 people, to be exact 471 COVID-19 patients.
"A new record during the COVID-19 pandemic in Jambi Province, the recovery rate reached 471 people in two days," said Jambi Province COVID-19 Task Force spokesman Johansyah in Jambi, as reported by Antara, Monday, June 14.
On Saturday, June 12, 227 COVID-19 patients were declared cured and on Sunday, June 13, 244 patients were declared cured.
The patients who were declared cured were spread across 10 districts and cities in the area. Among them in Jambi City 40 people, Sungai Penuh City six people, and in Muaro Jambi Regency 31 people.
Then in Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency 149 people, Tebo 47 people, Sarolangun 12 people and Merangin Regency 65 people. Furthermore, in Batanghari Regency 47 people, Bungo 23 people and in Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency 63 people.
Thus, the total number of recovered patients from COVID-19 in the area is 9,008 people

The total number of confirmed positive COVID-19 patients in the area so far is 11,015 people. There are 1,804 COVID-19 patients who are still undergoing the treatment process spread across eleven regencies and cities.
"There are two more COVID-19 patients who died from Jambi City, bringing the total to 203 people," said Johansyah.
Jambi's Acting Governor Hari Nur Cahya Murni appreciated the achievements of recovered patients and the COVID-19 vaccination week program for the elderly in the area. Where the vaccination week is an effort to significantly reduce the transmission of COVID-19, especially in Jambi.
"The vaccination for the elderly is a form of devotion to our parents and the elderly, hopefully, the elderly can avoid COVID-19," said Hari Nur Cahya Murni.
Meanwhile, of the eleven regencies and cities in the area, one district is in the COVID-19 red zone or a high-risk zone for COVID-19 transmission, namely Tebo Regency.
Nine regencies are in the orange zone or moderate risk zone for COVID-19 transmission, namely Jambi City, Sungai Penuh City, Bungo Regency, Merangin, Sarolangun, Batanghari, West Tanjung Jabung, Muaro Jambi and East Tanjung Jabung Districts. Meanwhile, Kerinci Regency is in the COVID-19 yellow zone.
The Jambi Province COVID-19 Task Force urges people in the area to apply the COVID-19 health protocol in a disciplined manner by washing hands with soap in running water, wearing masks, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds, and reducing mobility outside the area.
