The Mayapada Hospital Owned By Conglomerate Dato Tahir Still Loses Billions In 2020 Despite Raising Revenue Of IDR 1.28 Trillion
JAKARTA - Mayapada group hospital company, PT Sejahteraraya Anugrahjaya Tbk (SRAJ) posted an increase in revenue in 2020. However, the company owned by conglomerate Dato Tahir still recorded a net loss in 2020.
Quoted from SRAJ's audited financial statements as of December 31, 2020, quoted on Wednesday, June 9, the company recorded revenue of IDR 1.28 trillion, an increase of 28.04 percent compared to 2019 which was IDR 1 trillion.
The company's direct expenses also increased to IDR 864.69 billion compared to the previous year's IDR 721.71 billion.
In operating expenses, the company's general and administrative expenses also increased to IDR 392.7 billion compared to the previous year's IDR 316.72 billion. The company's financial expenses also increased to IDR 70.56 billion compared to the same expense in 2019 of IDR 14.82 billion.
Thus, the company's profit before tax was recorded at only IDR 191.39 million, better than the previous year which recorded a loss of IDR 66.32 billion. SRAJ also still recorded a loss for the year attributable to owners of the parent company of IDR 14.38 billion in 2020, a decrease of 80.99 percent compared to 2019 which lost IDR 75.66 billion.
On the other hand, the company's total liabilities also increased quite sharply by 94.51 percent to IDR 2.59 trillion compared to the end of last year of IDR 1.33 trillion. The increase occurred in long-term and short-term liabilities.
Total long-term liabilities increased to IDR 850.6 billion compared to 2019 which was IDR 234.1 billion. The total liabilities increased in line with the emergence of third-party bank loans of IDR 721.65 billion.

Meanwhile, total short-term liabilities also increased to IDR 1.74 trillion, whereas in 2019 it was only IDR 1.09 trillion. The increase was due to third-party bank loans amounting to IDR 82.02 billion.
Meanwhile, the company's total net equity slightly decreased to IDR 1.75 trillion from IDR 1.77 trillion in 2019. The company's total assets also increased sharply to IDR 4.34 trillion compared to 2019 which was IDR 3.1 trillion.
The increase mainly occurred in non-current assets which increased to IDR 3.4 trillion in 2020, while in 2019 it was IDR2.68 trillion. The increase occurred in net fixed assets which became IDR2.64 trillion and the existence of right-of-use assets net of IDR 308 billion.
Meanwhile, SRAJ's total current assets amounted to IDR 939.83 billion, an increase from the 2019 position of IDR 428.96 billion. The increase occurred in third-party trade receivables and inventories. Meanwhile, the company's cash and cash equivalent position also increased to IDR 629.6 billion compared to 2019 which was only IDR 232.11 billion.
