Romance And Debts Behind The Murder Case Of Tigor Nainggolan By Couple Heriyanto-Pini In Jambi
JAKARTA - The husband and wife pair Heriyanto (36) and Pini Pondriani (26) must now languish in a detention cell after being arrested by the police. Both of them were involved in the murder case of a cooperation unit employee named Tigor Tahtah Negara Nainggolan.
Jambi Police Chief Grand Commissioner Dover Christian said the murder case was motivated by debt problems and the love affair between the suspect Pini and the victim.
Initially, said Grand Commissioner Dover, the victim offered a loan to the suspect Pini. Due to frequent communication, the suspect Pini and the victim ended up having a romantic relationship.
Later, the suspect, Heriyanto, discovered the illicit relationship. Finally, the suspect Pini chose to end her love affair with the victim.
However, the suspect Pini and the victim are still communicating, due to debt problems. Due to the unresolved debt problem, the suspect finally planned to kill the victim.
"The suspect is charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 338 of the Criminal Code with the threat of the death penalty or life imprisonment," Dover told reporters at the Jambi Police Headquarters, quoted from a statement from the Police Public Relations Division, Thursday, June 3.
Meanwhile, the suspect Pini admitted that she had an affair with the victim. Pini recounted that their initial introduction began with the victim taking a rest at home, as well as offering a loan.
At that time, Pini said, the victim also asked for her WhatsApp number. Since then, said Pini, the victim began to diligently contact and seduce her into wanting to have a relationship.
“He came several times with food and drinks. At first, my husband didn't know,” said Pini.
According to Pini, the victim also asked her to find a loan. Because she had no money, finally Pini pawned the motorcycle BPKB, and the money was given to the victim.

"Finally we stopped (in touch with the victim, ed). Back again with my husband," said Pini.
Although she has ended her relationship with the victim, Pini admitted that she is still in contact with the victim regarding a debt of Rp9 million.
"The last time I visited, I collected a debt of Rp9 million. But the victim threatened me,” said Pini.
From there emerged the suspect's intention to end the victim's life.
