Every Day There Are COVID-19 Patients Who Die In Garut

GARUT - Garut COVID-19 Task Force noted that every day for a week there were cases of death of COVID-19 patients with various patient ages.

"Every day there are patients who die," said Public Relations Task Force COVID-19 Garut Yeni Yunita in Garut, as quoted by Antara, Thursday, May 27.

According to him, the COVID-19 outbreak in Garut Regency is still occurring and threatens public health so that it must continue to be vigilant by complying with health protocols.

The COVID-19 outbreak in Garut, he said, after the Idul Fitri holiday, there was an increase in positive cases and deaths.

"COVID-19 cases have increased after Eid, including those who died," said Yeni.

He said that COVID-19 patients who died for a week were between 40 and 70 years of age with health conditions having comorbidities.

"The average person who has comorbidities, for this week is the average age of 40 to 70 years," he said.

The latest report from the Garut COVID-19 Task Force recorded three cases of COVID-19 patients who died on Wednesday, May 26, namely two women aged 42 years and 65 years, then a man aged 70 years.

Furthermore, the report on Tuesday, May 25 that there were two COVID-19 patients who died, namely a woman aged 45 years and a man aged 54 years.

Meanwhile, the previous day, Monday, May 24, it was reported that one person died, namely a 58-year-old woman.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, May 23, it was reported that six people died.

The accumulated cases of COVID-19 in Garut have reached 9,544 cases, consisting of 556 cases undergoing independent isolation, 190 cases of isolation in hospital, 8,387 cases declared cured, and 411 cases died.
