Agung Podomoro, Property Developer Owned By Conglomerate Trihatma Haliman Receives Nearly IDR 5 Trillion Income In 2020

JAKARTA - PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk posted sales and operating income of IDR 4.96 trillion in 2020. The company's achievement with the APLN stock code increased by 30.7 percent compared to IDR 3.79 trillion in 2019.

The company owned by conglomerate Trihatma Haliman recorded sales recognition of IDR 3.91 trillion up 58.8 percent from IDR 2.46 trillion recorded in 2019. APLN Corporate Secretary, Justini Omas, explained most of the recognition was due to the sale of Karawang industrial land and the partial sale of the Central Park Mall.

"And recorded recurring revenues of IDR 1.04 trillion in 2020 down from IDR 1.33 trillion in 2019 due to the ongoing pandemic", Justini explained in his written statement quoted by VOI, Wednesday, May 26.

Agung Podomoro Land posted a gross profit of IDR 2.2 trillion in 2020 with a gross profit margin of 44.4 percent compared to the previous year which booked a gross profit of IDR 1.96 trillion with a gross profit margin of 51.7 percent in 2019.

APLN also recorded a net profit for the year of IDR 180.14 billion. However, from the acquisition of net profit, this issuer distributes to non-controlling issuers amounting to IDR 316.93 billion so that attributable to the parent entity, APLN loses IDR 136.8 billion.

Furthermore, APLN recorded marketing sales outside VAT of IDR 3.48 trillion, an increase of 79 percent compared to IDR 1.94 trillion in 2019. A total of 89 percent was contributed from the sale of 280 hectares (ha) of Karawang industrial land, Podomoro Park Bandung, Podomoro Golf View, and Podomoro City Deli Medan.
