Allegedly Being The Mastermind Of Chaos, The Police Arrested Stepfather Alvaro

South Jakarta Metro Police arrested a man in connection with the case of the disappearance of Alvaro Kiano Nugroho (6). The man is Alvaro's stepfather and is suspected of being involved in the kidnapping of the boy.

"The perpetrator is Alvaro's stepfather," said South Jakarta Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Lilipaly, in his statement, Monday, November 24.

Nicolas explained that the arrests were made before the discovery of the skeleton that allegedly belonged to Alvaro.

"Yes, (arrest first)," he said briefly.

Previously, the authorities found the body of a boy in the Pesanggrahan area who was suspected to be Alvaro. The Pesanggrahan Police have also arrested a suspected perpetrator for further questioning.

Until now, the police have not been able to reveal the cause of death because the investigation is still ongoing.

"One person was arrested," said Pesanggrahan Police Chief AKP Seala Syah Alam.

Currently, the alleged perpetrator is undergoing intensive examination at the South Jakarta Metro Police. Seala himself has not disclosed the details of the arrest.

"More details will be explained later," he concluded.
