Maintain The Golden Necklace Wearing, A Woman Dragged 50 Meters At The Kapuk Muara
JAKARTA - A woman with the initials S, became a victim of mugging until she was dragged 50 meters while defending her gold necklace. The incident occurred in the Kapuk Muara area, Penjaringan, North Jakarta.
The perpetrators are known to be 2 people. The incident began when the victim walked home after shopping at a shop near his house.
On the way, two people riding a white Honda PCX motorbike approached the victim and pulled his necklace.
The victim tried to defend the item until it was dragged into the street. The victim screamed for help, the two perpetrators immediately fled.
The mugging attempt was unsuccessful because the necklace remained in the hands of the victim. Local residents then helped the victim who was injured as a result of being dragged. The victim was taken to the nearest clinic.
The Head of the Penjaringan Metro Police, AKBP Agus Ady Wijaya, confirmed the incident.

"We are still investigating this case. CCTV footage and witness testimony are the initial ingredients to identify the perpetrators," said AKBP Agus when confirmed, Sunday, November 23, 2025.
The police have also asked the victim to make an official report to strengthen the investigation process. Until now the police are still conducting further investigations.
"From the results of the CCTV examination, it is suspected that the two perpetrators had the characteristics of dark clothes, hats and masks. The perpetrator's vehicle police number was not clearly legible," he said.
The police have also processed the crime scene and confiscated CCTV footage around the location. The perpetrator is still being hunted by members of Subnit V Resmob.
