Residents Of Pasar Rebo Arrest Men Perpetrators Of Child Abuse Underage

JAKARTA - A number of residents of Gongseng, Pasar Rebo, raided a man's house because they were suspected of having committed acts of sexual abuse against minors that occurred at the perpetrator's house.

The residents who raided the perpetrator's house then arrested the perpetrator. The incident was recorded by the residents' amateur cameras because they were annoyed by the perpetrator's lecherous act.

"It's still a profit not to be hit, it's still better to have a video. There's no head up. It's bad," said the resident in a video recording received by VOI, Sunday, November 23, 2025.

When the residents were arrested, the perpetrators just fell silent and surrendered.

"So at first the victim was playing with her peers, then the perpetrator invited the victim to enter his room and then locked it," said the resident.

The victim was then escorted home by the perpetrator. However, at that time the victim cried in pain because part of her vital equipment was sick.

The victim's family then reported the incident to the East Jakarta Metro Police.

The Head of PPA for the East Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Sri Yatmini, confirmed the incident. His party has also received a report from the victim.

Currently, the case is still under investigation and is being handled by the East Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim PPA Unit.
