Case Of Alleged Fake Diplomas Of The Deputy Governor Of Babel Entering The Investigation Stage
JAKARTA - The National Police Headquarters confirmed the examination of the Deputy Governor of Bangka Belitung (Babel), Hellyana on Thursday, November 13, 2025 yesterday.
The examination relates to allegations of forgery of letters, falsification of authentic deeds, and allegations of illegal use of academic degrees.
Karopenmas Divhumas Polri Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko explained that his case had gone up to the investigation stage.
"It's true, investigators have examined sister H as a witness regarding the report in question. The examination is proceeding according to the procedure and examination of case materials for the purposes of the evidentiary process," he said in his statement, Friday, November 14, 2025.
Truno said that the National Police still prioritizes the principle of prudence and the entire process is carried out carefully.
"We ensure that every step of investigation is carried out in a professional, proportional, and transparent manner. Further developments will be conveyed if there are results that can be published," he said.

This examination took place at Bareskrim Polri from 12.30 to 17.50 WIB. The examination was carried out based on the Police Report number LP/B/339/VII/2025/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI dated July 21, 2025, with the reporter Mr. AS, as well as the Investigation Order Number Sp Sidik/S-1.1/844.2a/X/2025/Dittipidum/Bareskrim dated October 3, 2025.
The certificate, which is the object of the investigation, is known to come from a private university in the Jatinegara area, East Jakarta, which has been officially closed by the government based on the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 370/E/O/2024 dated 27 May 2024.
