Presiden Prabowo Lantik 10 Anggota Komite Reform Polri Diketuai Jimly Asshiddiqie
JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated ten members of the National Police Reform Committee at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Friday afternoon. The National Police Reform Committee was chaired by the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court for the 2003 '2008 Jimly Asshiddiqie period.
The inauguration was carried out based on Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 122P of 2025 concerning the Appointment of Membership of the Indonesian National Police Reform Committee.
Apart from Jimly, who is also a member, Prabowo also inaugurated nine other committee members, namely National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo; Special Advisor to the President for Public Security and Order and Police Reform Ahmad Dofiri.
Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration and Corrections Yusril Ihza Mahendra; Deputy Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Correction Otto Hasibuan.
Minister of Home Affairs and National Police Chief for the 2016'2019 period, General Pol. (Ret.) Tito Karnavian; Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas; Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs for the 2019 period 2024 as well as Chairman of the Constitutional Court for the 2008 period 2013 Mahfud MD.
The National Police Chief for the 2019'2021 period, General Pol. (Ret.) Idham Aziz; and the National Police Chief for the 2015'2016 period, General Pol. (Ret.) Badrodin Haiti.
The inauguration procession began with singing the national anthem Indonesia Raya, followed by the reading of the Presidential Decree on the appointment of members of the Police Reform Committee.
After that, the committee members took the oath of office. The president stood before the committee members while leading the oath, which the entire members participated in simultaneously.
"That I will be loyal and uphold the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, and will carry out all laws and regulations as straight as possible for the sake of dharma my service to the nation and state," said Prabowo, who was followed by the committee members.

After the procession of taking the oath was completed, it was followed by the signing of the minutes of the inauguration by Jimly. After the procession was over, President Prabowo and officials welcomed the members of the Police Reform Committee who had been sworn in.
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Djamari Chaniago, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan,
Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, and Minister of Immigration and Correction Agus Andrianto.
The establishment of the Police Reform Committee or the Police Reform Committee is one of President Prabowo's promises to fulfill the aspirations of the community regarding the internal reform of the Police, especially after various pressures emerged from various community groups at the end of August 2025.
