Israel Attacks Lebanon Continues To Violate Resolution 1701, 15 UN DK Countries Remain Silent A Thousand Languages

JAKARTA - UN peacekeeping force, UNIFIL, said Israel was carrying out another attack on southern Lebanon. UNIFIL said Israel continued to violate the Resolution of the United Nations Security Council (DK PPB).

"This airstrike is a real violation of UN Security Council resolution 1701," the UNIFIL statement said, referring to the 2006 resolution that ended the war between Israel and Hezbollah, Friday, November 11, quoted by AN.

Even though it actually violates, members of the PPB DK consisting of 15 countries are still silent in a thousand languages.

UNFIFIL urged Israel to immediately stop airstrikes in southern Lebanon and called on all parties to exercise restraint to prevent a broader escalation.

UNIFIL noted that Israeli airstrikes occurred in areas in southern Lebanon, namely Tayr Dibrab, Taibe, and Ayta Al-Jabal cities within the UNIFIL operating zone.

One person was killed and eight others injured in the intense attack.

Israel has again argued that the airstrikes targeted the site and capabilities of Hezbollah, marking an escalation of attacks that nearly occur every day despite the prevailing ceasefire agreement.
