Anies Was Asked Not To Miss Again When The Tourist Attractions Opened Again

JAKARTA - Starting today, tourist attractions in Jakarta such as Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, Ragunan Wildlife Park, and Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) are re-opening.

The closure of tourist attractions is in effect from May 16 to 17, 2021. This is a follow-up to the emergence of a crowd of people traveling during the Eid holiday.

Member of the Regional House of Representatives DKI PSI Fraction, Anggara Wicitra Sastroamidjojo, warned DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan not to miss tourist attractions like some time ago.

Because, currently Anggara assesses that the ranks of the DKI Provincial Government are too focused on guarding the border and neglecting to supervise those who live inside Jakarta.

"The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has missed out. Satpol PP should have been deployed to assist tourism managers in monitoring and even closing them if they violate the 30 percent maximum limit", Anggara told reporters, Tuesday, May 18.

Anggara reminded that COVID-19 cases in the capital should no longer increase, as happened at the end of last January's holiday. Where there is an increase of 34 percent of positive cases in Jakarta.

For this reason, Anggara asked the DKI Provincial Government to carry out two layers of anticipatory steps, namely prevention and treatment. At the prevention layer, Anggara asked the DKI Jakarta Puskesmas to carry out random antigen swab testing in all public facilities, such as markets and offices.

"This random test must be carried out immediately before the peak of the backflow, so that positive case findings do not accumulate", he said.

Even random tests should also target residents who previously visited tourist attractions during the Eid holidays. "All tour ticket purchases have been made online, visitor data can be immediately traced", he added.
