Reminds MBG Menu Toxic Student Case, Jambi Governor Asks Nutritionists To Be Careful
JAKARTA - Jambi Governor Al Haris appealed to nutritionists and owners of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) to tighten supervision of processing the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program menu to avoid food poisoning cases experienced by school students.
"Please, the nutritionists are really here, supervising. They have a school, there is education, starting shopping in the market, they already know which one is clean and healthy," said Al Haris when inaugurating the SPPG in Jambi City, Friday, confiscated by Antara.
He explained that nutritionists must follow the sequences starting from shopping, ingredients to cooking to packaging, ensuring that the quality of the food to be sent is guaranteed.
Supervision during the Free Nutrition Food Process (MBG) must be carefully monitored, including nutritional content that has been adjusted to the standards of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN).
In addition, the head of the SPPG must be directly involved in supervising employee work standards, avoiding unwanted events such as unusable food consumption.
Entering the third week of September, the governor explained that of the 393 SPPG targets built in Jambi, only 46 kitchens have been operating. This number is still far away, but he is optimistic that until December there will be a leap in progress in the development of the nutrition fulfillment service.
