Transjakarta Promises To Change Damage Due To Bus Collision And House In Cakung
JAKARTA - Head of the Public Relations Department and CSR Transjakarta Ayu Wardhani confirmed that his party would compensate for the damage to kiosk buildings, houses, and others as a result of being hit by a Transjakarta bus in Cakung, this morning.
"For the damage and other affected losses, we make sure to get the appropriate replacement," Ayu told reporters, Friday, September 19.
This incident occurred on Jalan Raya Cakung Station, Pulogebang Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta at around 05.30 WIB when the service started carrying passengers. The bus is coded SAF 045 with the Steady Safe operator.
"I'm sorry for this incident. It happened on the route of corridor 11 (Pulogebang-Kampung Melayu) near Cakung station. The bus is in service," said Ayu.
Ayu ensured that there were no casualties as a result of the Transjakarta bus collision. However, as many as 6 people were declared injured consisting of a driver or bus driver, a resident, and 4 customers.
"All of them have received treatment at Pondok Kopi Hospital, in the assistance of the Steady Safe and Transjakarta teams," said Ayu.

According to Wahyu Wahono, a local resident, as many as 4 kiosk buildings were destroyed after being hit by a Transjakarta bus that was traveling quite fast.
"The material loss is not yet known. There are about 4 houses and places of business. Thank God the injured victims have been taken to the hospital," Wahyu explained.
A woman driving a Suzuki Baleno car also became a victim of this Transjakarta bus accident. At that time, the victim had just taken her child to school.
"At Cakung Station, I took my child to school, then I walked again. Suddenly from behind there was a bus (see) from the mirror, so I got out of the way, so I meant to get the bus passing first," said the driver of the car.
However, the Transjakarta bus continued to drive so that the car driven by the victim was hit by Transjakarta.
"The bus (Transjakarta) with the brakes failed, then the steering wheel couldn't handle it, so I was hit," he said.
