More Jumbo, 2026 Jakarta APBD Increases 3.8 Percent From 2025

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung revealed that the DKI Jakarta Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (ABPD) in 2026 is projected to increase by 3.8 percent compared to the APBD value for the 2025 fiscal year.

In the amendment to the APBD for the 2025 fiscal year, the DKI Provincial Government and the DKI Jakarta DPRD agreed on an APBD of IDR 91.86 trillion. Then, the 2026 APBD is targeted to reach IDR 95.35 trillion.

This was revealed by Pramono in a speech at the plenary session of the DKI Jakarta DPRD regarding the draft blood regulation regarding the DKI Regional Budget for the 2026 fiscal year.

"The total budget plan for regional revenue and expenditure for the 2026 budget year is IDR 95.35 trillion and an increase of 3.8 percent compared to changes in the regional budget and expenditure for the 2025 fiscal year," said Pramono at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building, Thursday, September 4.

In the composition of the 2026 APBD, regional revenue is planned at IDR 85.47 percent, an increase of 1.21 percent compared to the 2025 APBD.

"Regional income is expected to come from local revenue of Rp56.76 trillion, transfer income of Rp26.13 trillion, and other legitimate regional income of Rp2.57 trillion," said Pramono.

Meanwhile, regional spending on the draft APBD for the 2026 fiscal year is projected to be IDR 88.35 trillion. This figure is up 2.77 percent compared to regional spending in the 2025 APBD of IDR 85.97 trillion.

The regional spending plan consists of, operating spending, capital expenditures, unexpected expenditures, and transfer expenditures.

The regional spending policy is focused on solving city problems and implementing ten work programs for the Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI.

"Regional spending policies are also focused on budget allocations for sectors that directly touch the interests of the community, including basic service mandatory affairs guided by minimum service standards (SPM) in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, such as education, health, and the provision of food subsidies through the development of urban farming," explained Pramono.

Furthermore, financing revenue in the APBD for the 2026 fiscal year is planned at IDR 9.87 trillion. This came from the previous year's SilPA with a projection of IDR 5.05 trillion, and regional loan receipts of IDR 4.82 trillion.

Also, financing expenditures are planned at IDR 6.99 trillion, allocated to regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) and regional capital participation of IDR 5.18 trillion and principal installment payments due IDR 1.81 trillion.
