Roof Repair Of SDN Nangela Bogor Collapses Hit By Cliff, Budget From APBD 2025-2026

BOGOR - The Bogor Regency Education Office (Disdik) confirmed repairs following the collapse of the roof of SDN Nangela, Nanggung Village, Nanggung District, Sunday, August 31.

Head of the Bogor Regency Education Office, Rusliandy, said that field inspections had been carried out the day after the incident to follow up on damage to school facilities and infrastructure. He emphasized that improvements are a priority in the 2025 and 2026 Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budgets (APBD).

The planning for the construction of a classroom and a cliff-retaining sheet pile will be carried out in the 2025 APBD. Meanwhile, the construction of six classrooms, teacher office rooms, library rooms, ceremonial fields, fencing, and the continuation of the cliff-retaining sheet pile is planned for the 2026 APBD," said Rusliandy in Cibinong, Thursday, confiscated by Antara.

He explained that teaching and learning activities continued by temporarily diverting the learning process to the taklim assembly around the school. In addition, the construction of a cliff retaining sheet pile will soon be carried out to prevent potentially dangerous ground movement.

"Alhamdulillah, from the school principal's report there were no casualties because the incident took place outside of study hours. However, we still urge the heads of institutions, supervisors, and parents, to jointly maintain the safety of students," he said.

Head of the Facilities and Infrastructure Development Division of the Bogor Regency Education and Education Office, Warman, added that the results of field monitoring showed damage at SDN Nangela in the heavy category.

"Physical damage includes two classrooms, one teacher's room, one affected classroom, and a shifted cliff retaining sheet pile," he said.

He also revealed that apart from the damage caused by the incident, the condition of supporting facilities at SDN Nangela still requires development.

"School fields are still in the form of land and schools and there is also a shortage of classrooms," he said.
