Germany Open 2025: Rehan/Gloria Step Into The Finals With Difficulty
JAKARTA - Indonesia finally has a representative in the German Open 2025 final. Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja confirmed the move to the top party with great difficulty in the semifinals on Saturday, March 1, 2025.
Rehan/Gloria beat India's mixed doubles, Dhruv Kapila/Tanisha Crasto, through the rubber game with a score of 25-23, 10-21, and 21-15.
In the first set, Rehan/Gloria actually had a long lead after the interval with 12-8. However, the four consecutive points Kapila/Crasto made the position even.
After that, the match was fierce and chasing numbers that finally forced the pace.
Luckily, Rehan/Gloria were able to remain calm at critical points so that they could secure the first set with a score of 25-23.
Continuing in the second set, Rehan/Gloria seemed to have difficulty chasing and giving up the set. After 3-3, Kapila/Crasto walked away without being approached.

In the third set, Rehan/Gloria rose impressively. They had kept their distance before the interval, but were equalized 10-10.
The smooth path of Rehan/Gloria was created after a 14-14 draw. They were not overtaken again until they closed the victory with a score of 21-15.
Rehan/Gloria are the only Indonesian representatives left in the semifinals. Previously, there were mixed doubles of Jafar Hiayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu.
However, Jafar/Felisha ran aground in the quarter-finals against the gado-gado pair Robin Tableting/Alexandra Boje (Netherlands-Denmark) 18-21 and 11-21.
Meanwhile, Rehan/Gloria will face winner Robin Tableing/Alexandra Boje vs Rasmus Espersen/Amalie Cecilie Kudsk who is currently still playing.
