Prabowo Appreciates Jokowi For Preparing The Establishment Of A Gold Bank Since 4 Years Ago

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto appreciates the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who has prepared the establishment of the Gold Bank service in the last four years.

At the inauguration of the Golden Bank Pegadaian and Bank Syariah Indonesia in Gade Tower, Jakarta, Wednesday, President Prabowo admitted that President Joko Widodo's government role was in the inauguration of the Gold Bank.

"I understand that the preparation of this Gold Bank took quite a long time. If I'm not mistaken it took four years. My destiny is that I will be inaugurated. Once again I thank Mr. Jokowi," said President Prabowo in his remarks, confiscated by Antara.

Therefore, the President also mentioned Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya who should have invited Jokowi to the inauguration of the event, for the role of the previous government in forming the Golden Bank.

Prabowo said he would meet Jokowi in the near future to apologize, for not inviting the former mayor of Solo.

"Maybe tomorrow I will meet Pak Jokowi. I will apologize for saying, 'Sorry Mr. Jokowi, Mr. who worked hard with your ministers'. In fact, many of your ministers I also use," said Prabowo.

The Head of State then stated that many of Jokowi's government ministers were recruited to become his assistants now in the structure of the Red and White Cabinet.

According to Prabowo, the ministers who are likened to a team if they have done a good performance, do not need to be replaced.

"Managers may be replaced, but if the team, the players are still good, they will continue to be used as long as they are strong, right. If they are not strong, they can withdraw, but it looks like they are still strong. The manager can change if the players are still good, we will continue to use it for the victory of the Indonesian nation," said Prabowo.

Prabowo was also grateful that within less than 200 days of his reign, a number of strategic inaugurations and policies could be implemented.

Recently, the President announced a 100 percent foreign exchange export policy for natural resources (DHE SDA) in the country within one year.

Then on Monday, February 24, the President also launched the Danantara Investment Management Agency (BPI) as the Indonesian Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF) which manages assets of up to 900 billion US dollars.
