Pandu Sjahrir: Danantara Will Accommodate Inputs On The 3 Million Houses Program Made By Prabowo
JAKARTA - The Investment Management Agency (BPI) Daya Anagata Nusantara (DANTara) was involved in the implementation of the program of 3 million houses made by President Prabowo Subianto. This was confirmed in a meeting to discuss the incentives of Bank Indonesia (BI) for Prabowo's flagship program.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruar Sirait, Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir, Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) Perry Warjiyo, Chairman of Commission XI DPR RI Misbakhun and Pandu Sjahrir who are representatives of the Danantara.
On the occasion of a press conference, Pandu said, Danantara played a role in encouraging investment interest in the 3 million home program.
"From our side, there may be only two things. One is the establishment of a kind of book building for interest and also the addition of liquidity to be able to jump start from this house program," said Pandu at the BI office, Jakarta, Tuesday night, February 11.
According to Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan's nephew, Danantara will accommodate input from market participants to encourage investment interest in the 3 million home program.
"So, indeed this book building is a process in which we collect interest and input from the market. So, this is what we are currently working on to work together a lot with Pak Ara," he said.
As for supporting the rate of financing for the program of 3 million houses, BI is committed to reducing incentives of Rp. 23.2 trillion and will be increased to Rp. 80 trillion in banks that distribute KPR of 3 million houses.

"We believe that housing will boost economic growth and create jobs. And Bank Indonesia's concrete support is that the provision of liquidity incentive policies, which are now IDR 23.2 trillion, will gradually increase to IDR 80 trillion," said Perry.
