Bareskrim Has Been Examined, But The Status Of The Kohod Village Head Is Not Yet A Suspect

JAKARTA - The village head (Kades) of Kohod, Arsin, has been questioned by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police in the alleged deed forgery case related to the sea fence. However, his status has not been determined as a suspect.

The Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Djuhandani Rahardjo Puro stated that in the case his team was investigating, Arsin's status was still a witness.

"Yes, we have been examined as witnesses according to their rights. We will continue to prioritize the presumption of innocence, we have examined the village head," said Djuhandani to reporters quoted on Tuesday, February 11.

Untuk penetapan tersangka, penyidik harus melakukan proses gelar perkara. Langkah penyidikan itu akan dilakukan jika pengambilan keterangan terhadap saksi lainnya telah selesai.

So far, investigators are still collecting evidence. Then, the number of witnesses who have been examined temporarily is 44 people

"Later, when the evidence or examinations have been completed, we will immediately issue them, whether this should be increased as a suspect or other involvement to be developed in the further investigation process," said Djuhandani.

Meanwhile, in handling cases related to sea fences, Bareskrim investigated allegations of deed forgery in the form of building rights certificates (SHGB) and title certificates (SHM). Currently, the status of the case has also been upgraded to the investigation stage.

In addition, from the series of examinations that have been carried out, investigators found a mode used by the reported party, in this case Arsin, in falsifying the deed.

It is said, if the reported party cooperates with several other parties to make a fake deed to and use it as data on applications for recognition of rights

"Investigators also got a modus operandi where the reported party and friends made use of fake letters to apply for measurement and application for recognition of rights to the Tangerang Regency land office," said Djuhandani.
