Obey Government Regulations, PT TRPN Dismantles The 3.3 Km Bekasi Sea Pagar

PT Tunas Ruang Pelabuhan Nusantara (TRPN) targets three days to complete the demolition of the 3.3 kilometer long sea fence that stretches in the waters of Paljaya, Segara Jaya Village, Tarumajaya District, Bekasi Regency, West Java.

"Earlier it began to be dismantled at 10.00 WIB. In the next three days it will be completed," said PT TRPN attorney Deolipa Yumara in Bekasi Regency, Tuesday, February 11, which was confiscated by Antara.

He admitted that the work on dismantling the sea fence was an initiative of the company as the land owner according to its commitment to comply with every government regulation.

"The demolition involved a number of PT TRPN workers. We also deployed one unit of heavy equipment for this work," he said.

Deolipa stated that the demolition object was targeting a row of bamboo installed in a reclamation area that had been sealed by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia.

The dismantling work is carried out by removing bamboo by heavy equipment. The bamboo that was successfully revoked was then dumped in the water area around the location.

The demolition of the sea fence was also attended by the Director General of Marine and Fishery Resources Supervision (PSDKP) Pung Nugroho Saksono or Ipunk and the Head of the West Java Province Marine and Fisheries Service (DKP) Hermansyah.

On that occasion, Ipunk said that his party was only tasked with overseeing the company's actions in dismantling its own sea fence.
