Toyota Shows Off Its BZ4X Electric Car Prototype At Auto Shanghai 2021
JAKARTA - Toyota introduced its newest concept car, named bZ4X. This new SUV-type electric car will be a new variant of the Toyota bZ (beyond Zero) line.
Along with the hectic production of electric cars, Toyota turned its gaze to the arena of electric vehicles. The reason is, Toyota is better known for its cars that have hybrid technology.
Now the Japanese manufacturer is starting to seriously work on electric cars. The Toyota bZ4X was first introduced at the auto show called Auto Shanghai 2021. Even though what was exhibited at the event was still a prototype, it is likely that Toyota will produce this SUV massively and in the near future.
"The Toyota bZ4X concept provides another option in our already strong electric portfolio", said Bob Carter, Executive Vice President of Sales for Toyota Motor North America in an official statement on April 19.

In addition to the bZ4X, Toyota has also announced that it will build another electric SUV, the Subaru, which is equipped with a special e-TNGA platform.
This electric car Toyota bZ4X will complement the line of environmentally-friendly electric cars including the use of the battery, hydrogen, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid. Until now, the company has not provided more detailed information regarding this new car.
According to news circulating, this bZ4X electric car will be produced in Japan and China. The company is targeting global market share by mid-2022.
